      One of our Clients is looking for MRI Technologist for the following roles.

       

      Position Title: MRI Technologist

      Position Based In: Saudi Arabia - AlMadinah

      Education:Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences or related field.

      Experience:Minimum of five (5) years in MRI or post one (1) year SCDP In MRI.

       

      Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

      • Assist to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RlS) immediately after completing the procedure according to departmental protocols and standards.
      • Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
      • Participate in the implementation of the departmental strategic plan.
      • Coordinate care and safety of patients during MRI procedures.
      • Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional.
      • Maintain patient confidentiality, rights and privacy at all times.
      • Handle equipment and related accessories safely and responsibly.
      • Cover the department during the working shifts/on calls as scheduled and during emergencies or disaster as requested.
      • Follow established Radiation Protection measures for themselves, patients, other staff and the population in general.
      • Set-up and operate equipment to perform MRI examinations/procedures according to departmental protocols and report all equipment faults and errors to the shift leader.
      • Ensure scheduled work is completed before signing out.
      • Select the proper equipment, accessories and techniques to obtain the highest image quality.
      • Fully inform patients and / or relatives as to the nature of the examination to be performed.
      • Ensure correct patient identification and site verification checks are undertaken for each examination.
      • Ensure all applicable licenses and/or trainings are maintained current including BLS certification.
      • Follow established International Patient Safety goals.
      • Assist, supervise and train the Radiology Students, Radiology Technologist III and new staff to perform all types of duties assigned.
      • Perform any related duties as assigned.
