Position Title: Female Anesthesia Technician II

Professional Qualification: Bachelor or Associate degree in Anesthesia - Valid Basic Life Support- Valid certificate (preferred)- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Professional Experience: Minimum of three years experiences in Anesthesia in recognized institute

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Routine insertion of all intravenous infusions in the operating room, liaison with the anesthetist.
• Initial application of all non-invasive anesthesia related patient monitoring.
• Routine daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning of all anesthesia related equipment.
• Routine daily, weekly and monthly care and cleaning of all anesthesia related storage and work areas, to include Operating Suite, Labor and Delivery, Burn Unit, Lithotripsy MR!, Angio, Endoscopy, Cardiac and Liver Transplantation and any other designated anesthesia areas.
• Specific case by case preparation for all anesthetic procedures, to include all general anesthetic, all regional anesthetic standby procedures and any related anesthetic invasive procedures.
• Appropriate daily restocking of anesthesia consumable sin all designated areas.
• To be available at all times for emergencyanaesthetic procedures during assigned shifts.
• Drawing of any anesthesia related venous or arterial blood samples upon request of an Anesthesiologist.
• Assistance to be given in positioning of all patients for all anesthetic and surgical procedures.
• Under supervision, daily and weekly distribution of all anesthesia consumables and pharmaceutical items.
• Ordering blood and blood products and under direct supervision of an anesthesiologist; appropriate checking and administration of blood and blood products.
