Education: Candidate should possess minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or MBA (IT).

Experience: Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in Information Technology of which Eight (08) years should be as functional head in a medium or large sized Industrial / engineering organization. Experience of implementing at least 3 ERP modules in process industry, oversight of IT Systems Security Frameworks and Disaster Recovery Programs. Should possess relevant certification in PMP, COBIT, ITIL, etc.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of enterprise-wide integrated strategic IT plans and policies.
• Keep abreast of current and developing information technologies equipment and systems.
• Identify current and future IT needs by consulting with internal IT users, and review of current work systems.
• Analyze information needs of the organization and develop technological solutions to satisfy those needs.
• Coaching and development of IT team. Plan the provision of training for IT users and the IT team.
• Direct the integration of IT operations, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications and data processing.
• Control security aspects of IT systems, and ensure system integrity through contingency planning and IT risk management. Proactive planning for technology capacity and capability.
• Effective utilization of core systems (SAP and Lotus Notes) whereby manual processes are automated and support to organizational decision making process through enhanced MIS.
• Maintain professional contacts with other refineries and professional organizations on existing and emerging information technologies.
• Lead and guide the design, establishment, and maintenance of the organizational structure and staffing required to effectively accomplish the IT goals and objectives.
