Position Title: Group Head Procurement

Education:Bachelors degree in engineering with preferably Business Administration Degree

Experience:At least 10 years relevant experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry or other large manufacturing concerns with emphasis on handling foreign procurement

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Major responsibilities include planning, implementation and monitoring of all activities relating to procurement of goods, supplies and services from local/international sources.
• The position requires preparation of procurement plans/schedules in accordance with best material procurement practices in a cost effective and transparent manner.
• Other responsibilities include evaluation of vendor performance and creation of database in respect of price trends, lead-time, duties, import taxes, etc.
• Knowledge of import tariffs, customs procedures and freight forwarding will be an essential requirement.
