Education:Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant or Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy from reputable institution.
Experience:
- The candidate should be a professional accountant with at least 12 years of post qualification experience OR a Masters’ degree in Finance/ Accountancy with at least 14 years of experience.
- Candidate should have a work exposure in the field of insurance, internal audit, corporate investigation, fraud investigation and information security will be given preference.
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the organization is in full compliance with applicable regulations and analyze all risks related issues.
- Define risk policies, design support procedures and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
- Review and update existing risk management policies and procedures through assessment
of risk exposures.
- Develop risk matrix and risk methodologies to safeguard company's interest.
- Build the risk management team abreast with quality risk management practices.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements, anticipating the impact on company's operations, and advising and supporting alignments as appropriate.
- Monitor compliance framework that capture and measures the .effectiveness of alignment-between legislative and regulatory requirement, existing / renewed policies, processes and systems.
- Provide regulatory advice and support service to line management responding to business needs in respect of alignment to existing and new compliance requirement.
- Develop strategies for controlling and exploiting the various risks.
