Position Title:Simulation Center IT Support Specialist

Education:Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Field.

Experience:Minimum two years computer simulation experience in a clinical,Medical or acute-care setting. Knowledge of medical simulation Instructional technologies. Basic knowledge of medical emergencies and Terminology is preferred or a clinical background (emergency medical Technician, paramedic, etc.). Knowledge of computer hardware and Software applications relevant to simulator functions and instructional Technology.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Manager of the simulation center.
• The IT Support Specialist assists the simulation center staff in day-to-day operations and troubleshoots malfunctions in low fidelity to high-fidelity medical simulation training equipment; as well as integrates, maintains and operates the simulation computer and audio/video technology including the manikins and surrounding equipment.
