Education:Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences or related field or Equivalent Current certification / registration / license to Practice MR1.

Experience:Minimum of five (5) years in a MRI.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) immediately after completing the procedure according to departmental protocols and standards.
• Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
• Participate in the implementation of the departmental strategic plan.
• Assist in organizing, supervising, coordinating and representing the provision of MRI service.
• Assist in developing the policies, procedures and protocols in the Department of Medical Imaging.
• Participate in departmental in-services and lectures for staff and Radiology students.
• Coordinate care and safety of patients during MRI procedures.
• Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, rights and privacy at all times.
• Handle equipment and related accessories safely and responsibly.
• Cover the department during working shifts/on calls as scheduled and during emergencies or disaster as requested.
