Professional Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care profession (i.e. Nursing, Pharmacy, Hospital administration or other relevant discipline)
Excellent communication skills
- Minimum of four (4) years work experience of which at least two (2) years recent experience should be in Quality Management activities in Acute Care Facility or large ambulatory care environment – E
Current knowledge of Quality Management tools and techniques — P
Knowledge of JCIA standards — P
Experience working in a personal computer environment — P
Effective interpersonal communications and teaching skills — P
Additional Qualification
- English Language must be level I-E
- Arabic Language Skills: Beneficial
- Computer Skills: Expert in Computer proficiency level
Professional Experience & Job Responsibilities
- Facilitating, monitoring, educating, conducting, and coordinating Joint Commission Accreditation and Reaccreditations.
- Facilitating the implementation, analyzing, reporting and reviewing the effectiveness of the various initiatives and recommending and implementing further improvements (Continuous Improvement Cycle).
- Perform retrospective or concurrent reviews on assigned areas utilizing the KAMC-CR approved Indicators Monitoring System (IMS) databases, indicators or criteria.
- Participate in Site Visits to the various KAMC-CR Facilities to work with staff on quality management programs and/or activities. Responsible for completion of a full and detailed Site Visit Report within three (3) working days of return from all visits.
- Participate in area wide mini focus studies; to be undertaken in conjunction with the Department and other KAMC-CR Directorates.
- Responsible for reviewing results of committee meetings, mini focus studies, QM Team activities etc. from all assigned facilities and participating in preparation of quarterly reports for the Director of the Quality Management Department.
- Developing, maintaining, analyzing and reporting with regard to Patient Medical Record Audits.
- Perform other job related duties as required.
