Professional Qualification :
- At least Bachelor‘s degree, Preferable Master degree in Geology from a reputable University.
Professional Experience :
- 13-16 years of experience with Strong interpretation skills in the areas of strati graphic and structural geology.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing geological interpretations of multi-horizon fields, working closely with multi-discipline team and incorporating offset well data, geologic models, seismic information, petrophysical data and engineering data.
- Supporting evaluation and recommendation of reserves under SEC and PRMS guidelines to management and internal/external reserve auditors.
- Representing the team in partner meetings, peer reviews and to management as required to support decision making.
- Performing uncertainty and risk analysis of investment opportunities. Required Qualifications: In order to perform the accountabilities of this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate.
- Building geo cellular models at well pattern and field level in order to Support planning and forecasting well and field performance, o Optimize and support field development decisions (such as project sanction, drilling locations, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) implementation), and Manage field production operations.
- Interacting with exploration team to transition projects from exploration/appraisal phase to development.
- Experience incorporating seismic data in geological interpretations.
- Expertise in the use of mapping and cross-section/log analysis software.
- Proven experience in mapping and modeling reservoirs, integrating seismic, log and core data with statistical analysis.
- In-depth experience of modern software applications used in the reservoir geological modeling, such as Petrel or similar.
- Experience in oil and gas reservoir characterization or development, reserves estimates, core description, petrography and petro physics.
- The willingness and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team with a collaborative, accountable and proactive approach.
- Technically evaluating producing field geology to enable base business production
optimization and the maturation of development wells.
- Supporting strategic planning, portfolio management, and business planning processes.
