Experience:Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance systems.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Manager will manage all facets of cement plant maintenance including overseeing the electrical functions of the plant.
• Develops an annual budget to meet the criteria of the maintenance plan and manages all activities to that budget.
• Directs the mechanical and electrical departments and supervision in carrying through on maintenance plan. Insures that a predictive, preventative, and contingency maintenance plan is being carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
• Establishes a training and development program to maintain the skills of the work force and develop skills of employees.
• Insures all maintenance activity is carried out in a prioritized and well-planned manner. Insure records and maintenance activities are kept up to date and can be easily accessed and understood.
• Directs the work force in a manner that utilizes the maximum potential of each employee. Treat workers in a fair and consistent manner.
• Insure company is in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, insuring legal compliance with the agreement and maintenance of management rights.
• Work closely with management, production, and administration to insure the goals of the organization are being realized.
• Establishes and recommends improvements that will increase efficiency and decrease costs.
• Plan and manage annual maintenance shutdown to insure that costs and downtime are minimized.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
