Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of New Product Introduction and manage the Branded Generic strategy.
• Responsible for setting product performance targets for launched products.
• Responsible for the technical aspects of product transfers to and from sister GMS sites arid 3 party contract manufacturers.
• Responsible for approving technical aspects of planned changes for launched products through effective risk management processes.
• Responsible for knowledge management of products through lifecycle.
• Responsible for providing technical leadership into complex launched product performance investigations.
• Responsible for Process Engineering function and capability improvements of all manufacturing units processes including supporting site production and OE teams for Cost of Waste reduction projects.
• Establish good working relationships with major stakeholders and colleagues in GMS.
• Provide technical support for trouble shooting of launched products where known complex problems exist (using Technical Risk Assessment & Root Cause Analyze process).
• Create and manage appropriate knowledge, best practice and change management forums to deliver measurable site business benefits through technical and engineering solutions.
• Management of site RMS.
• Ensure a smooth risk escalation process at the site.
• Provide technical support in the preparation of mitigation plans for the identified risks.
• Directing Tablets, Liquids and Penicillin’s for process improvement and sigma capability improvement initiatives.
• Manage the introduction of new products/branded generics a year.
• Engage and influence GMS Technical Operations to gain support for technical decisions and development of site capability Engage and influence personnel from across all areas of the site and at all levels from shop floor to SIT.
