Professional Qualification: Must have Ph.D in Economics or Finance from well reputed foreign University.
Professional Experience: Must have 15 years experience as a professional economist (after Completing 16 years education) with well reputed institutions in Pakistan or abroad.
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Provide intellectual and analytical support in formulating monetary policy in relation to key macroeconomic target.
- Produce regular macroeconomics forecasts, including counterfactual simulation analysis and contribute in the up-gradation of existing in-house econometric models.
- Undertake research and analysis on economics and financial issues and develop policy notes/briefs on economic trends, developments and outlook to assist policy formulation and appraisal.
- Prepare working papers and briefs for the Bank’s senior management, monetary policy committee & monetary and fiscal policy coordination Board.

- Contribute in various publications including Annual & Quarterly reports on the state of economy.
- Manage a team of economic analysts and prepare business plans.
