Position Title: Structural Engineer

Professional Qualification / Experience: Bachelor Degree in Structural /Civil Engineering

• Minimum 12 years experience in a similar position require to be Professionally qualified with recognized Institutes. Expert in computer proficiency levels with experience in using STAAD Ill/SAP 200 and 2D-CAD.Knowledge of international standards/codes of practice is required.Skilled in English language must be Level I-E.

Responsibilities:

• To design and prepare all required structural drawings and technical details for all Projects to design and prepare all required structural drawings and technical details for all Projects.
• To verify that the approved drawings with reference to Civil/Construction Works are being properly implemented during the construction stage of any project.
• To carry out periodic structural monitoring of all buildings which include level surveys, buildings maintenance etc report, deficiencies, with recommendations for rectification if required, with verification of satisfactory completion.
• To carry out all required techiornetrical surveys.
• Carry out inspection and supervisory duties relating to construction works by subcontractors as required.
• Research the market, and be aware of the modern construction materials as to cost effectiveness, maintain all relevant documentation in the Technical Library of Engineering Services Health Affairs.
• Where necessary the provision of technical support and consultation to both Building Services U&M Divisions in the maintenance and repair of roads footpaths, etc in the correct application of asphalt, installation of kerbs concrete, pavement slabs terrazo marble tiles etc.
