Education: Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences or related field Current certification I registration / license to practice Diagnostic radiology.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in CT scan or post one (1) year SCDP in cr Scan.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) immediately after completing the procedure according to the departmental Policy and Procedure.
• Produce a substantial amount of cross-sectional x rays of an area of the body to make a three-dimensional image.
• Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
• Participate in the implementation of the departmental strategic plan.
• Coordinate care and safety of patients during CT procedures.
• Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, rights and privacy at all times.
• Handle equipment and related accessories safely and responsibly.
• Cover the department during the working shifts/on calls as scheduled and during emergencies or disaster as requested.
• Follow established Radiation Protection measures for themselves, patients, other staff and the population in general.
• Set up and operate equipment to perform CT examinations/procedures according to departmental protocols and report all equipment faults and errors to the supervisor.
• Ensure scheduled work is completed before signing out.
