Education:Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences or related field or Equivalent.

Experience:Minimum of five (5) years in Interventional Radiology.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Assist and perform Interventional procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and adiology Information.
• System (RIS) immediately after completing the procedure according to departmental protocols and standards.
• Set-up and operate equipment to perform Interventional examinations/procedures according to departmental protocols and reports all equipments faults and errors to the Supervisor.
• Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
• Participate in the implementation of the departmental strategic plan.
• Assist in organizing, supervising, coordinating and representing the provision of Interventional Radiology services.
• Assist in developing the policies, procedures and protocols in the Department of Medical Imaging.
• Participate in departmental in-services and lectures for staff and Radiology students.
• Coordinate care and safety of patients during Interventional procedures.
• Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional. Maintain patient confidentiality, rights and privacy all times.
• Handle equipment and related accessories safely and responsibly.
• Cover the department during the working shifts/on calls as scheduled.
