Education:Minimum FRCPS or FRCS.
Experience:Minimum of ten (10) years experience as Consultant Urologist in recognized Institute (Hospital)
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Treat diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and reproductive organs.
- Treat diseases relating to testicular cancer, prostate, bladder, kidney, kidney stones, incontinence and male infertility.
- Evaluate the condition of patients and order appropriate diagnostic tests and exams.
- Work in consultation with nephrologists to treat kidney patients.
- Perform surgery of the urinary tract for cancer.
- Rectify through surgery the congenital abnormalities and male reproductive system.
- Access latest technologies and implement most advanced procedures in treating patients.
- Give emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during treatment interventions.
- Deliver patient care through pre-operative and post-operative stages until discharged.
- Document and maintain records pertaining to patients.
