Professional Qualification: Associate in Respiratory Therapy – Essential, Bachelor in Respiratory – Preferred Licensed Respiratory Therapist – Preferred
Professional Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience in Hospital – Essential 1 year Neonatal Experience in Neonatal and Pediatric - Preferred
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Modify therapy/techniques based on clinical and laboratory data in consultation with the Physician.
- Perform assorted pulmonary hygiene procedures and assesses the effectiveness of therapy.
- Interpret basic EKG tracings and document clinical assessments.
- Perform Arterial Punctures, Advanced Airway Management, Bronchoscopy and other Invasive procedures.
- Provide assistance to the team leader in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ensure maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
- Comply with hospital infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in the orientation as assigned.
