Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Preparing risk assessment and detailed annual audit plans.
- Assessment on the appropriateness of the audit plans.
- To carry out reviews and establish an effective internal audit functions that provides independent assurance to relevant stakeholders on the state of entity’s control environment and control discipline.
- Ensure early identification and escalation of risks, issues, trends and developments to relevant stakeholders. Be prepared to raise issues/ concerns outside the normal audit process.
- Adopt an anticipatory approach to risk assessment through stakeholder communication and monitoring of external environment to improve audit planning.
- Delivery of the agreed audit plan as assigned, understanding the key audit issues arising and escalating any significant audit findings that remains unresolved.
- Undertake comprehensive planning and risk assessment relating to each assignment and identifies potential business risks.
- Help to develop an annual audit plan meeting the Board Audit Committee and Management expectations.
- Execute audit and other assignments to provide independent, objectives assurance to the board audit committee.
- Ensure internal audit activity is sufficient to meet the requirements/expectations of local regulators.
- Support Process improvements initiatives.
