Position Title: Electrocardiographic Technician II

Education: Associate degree in Cardiac Technology or healthcare related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate equipment to perform standard 12-Lead Electrocardiography.
• Review patient’s record and instruct patient prior to procedures.
• Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal finding.
• Identity and correct of any wandering, interference and artifact.
• Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintain ECG equipment and supplies.
• Participate in the implementation of quality management programs for the ECG unit.
• Assist in maintaining all record pertaining to the ECG unit.
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all hospital departments.
• Compliance with the hospital infection control and safety protocols.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
