      Position Title: Employee Relations Advisor/Manager Entity

      Position Based In: Karachi - Pakistan 

      Employer / Client’s Detail: Leading Private University/Hospital

      Education: Master’s in Business Administration. Bachelors in Law (preferred.

      Experience: 7 to 10 of relevant professional experience, including 2 to 3 years in a Management capacity.

      Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

      • Provide support and advice to the department heads/supervisors to manage their staff discipline and performance issues including reprimands, show cause notice and terminations.
      • Lead the Employee Relations activities for department disciplinary cases in line with labor laws and institutional policies.
      • Develop strategic employee relations initiatives and prepare recommendations pertaining to the institution-wide policy matters.
      • Oversee progressive discipline formal disciplinary actions in line with the policy and labor laws of Pakistan.
      • Liaison with the Institutions external lawyer and governmental agencies as and when require Facilitate HR in supervisory capacities ensuring administration of statutory requirements and the schemes.

      • Provide guidance and act as a lead in matters related to discipline and administration of the statutory requirements.
      • Liaise with government agencies for employee relations activities.
      • Supervise holding of independent enquiry in respect of discipline cases as and when required.
      • Monitoring grievance handling of respective cases raised by employee / department.
      • Handle employee grievances and provide assistance and guidance in line with the policy.
      • Keeping management abreast about latest updates of employee relations.
      • Oversee monthly/annual reports in respect of employee relations.


      • Experience of handling employee relations.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Good computer skills.
      • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
      • Knowledge of Labor Laws of the Country and Human Resource practices.
      • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.
      • Counseling and analytical skills.
